Find Out About 5 Steps with Which a Student Can Deal With Stress

Plan your day

Any student that fails to plan is planning to fail and that’s why you need to have a daily plan and beyond that a good plan for your life. If you think you are planning well and you cram your activities in your head, you are really joking; you would stress your brain so much and yet forget important things. It is necessary for you to have a journal to draft a plan of activity for your day. Draft out deadlines, when you need to submit certain assignments, reports, term papers etc. You can be in possession of calendars where you can indicate key events that are coming up in your school. You life will be under your control that way.

Avoid the temptation to finish your entire plan for the day

It is good to set daily target and meet up with all of it but in the case of tasks that are too much for a day, don’t be tempted to finish all in the same day, you would invariably hamper your health and deny yourself the privilege of meeting up with the demands of the next day.

Those of that have put themselves in the position of a crisis manager are in many wise killing themselves, they want to cram a whole chapter of a textbook in 2 hours, they want to read the entire lesson notes of a term in a day. These are impossible tasks and really, if you fall into this category, you would be easily predisposed to stress. Take things one step at a time, like some said, break everything down into chunks, plan out what you can realistically achieve and schedule your tasks accordingly. Chances are that you’ll realise that you’ve allocated way too little time at the start! Once you’ve written everything down in a detailed plan, you’ll feel much better about yourself and can start to take action on some of your tasks instead of panicking and stressing!

Enjoy healthy diet

Food is fundamental to dealing with stress, if you do not eat nutritious and balanced diet, chances are that your immune system will crash in no distant time so it is important that you eat balanced diet and also eat lots of fruits, they help to strengthen your immune system so that you are not easily plagued with stress. Avoid junks and sugary food, they are not so healthy.

Get good Sleep

Experts say, Sleep is always the best medicine and some people find that small 20-minute naps can help increase productivity. Students are tempted to spend much of their time on the internet and on different social media platforms, it is not bad to be on this platforms but the bad thing is being there for too long.  When you are tired, don’t be tempted to stay on chatting, or calling, switch off your phones and go to bed, get a good sleep and you won’t be affected by stress.

Exercise your body & plan to have leisure

When you are stressed, take time out to exercise your body before you get some rest. You can also reward yourself by fixing leisure into your schedule. After completing an assignment, or passing an examination, engage in your hobby, either playing games, watching football etc. it helps to relax your mind after long hours of concentration.
