1. Animals such as antelope resemble deer in a number of ways but have horns instead of antlers, the difference being that horns are not grown and replaced like antlers are.
2. The weight of the deer ranges from 30 – 300 kg (70 – 700 lb), and the smallest deer is Northern Pudu and it weighs around 10 kg (20 lb).
3. Deer stay in herds of approximately 25 deer per herd, mainly female deer and a dominant male deer known as a stag.
