If mornings are trouble for you, know that they’re trouble for a lot of other people as well so you are not alone. I get it, sleep is nice. Why would you want to start the day when you can just hit the snooze button?
Well here are 6 ways to make waking up much easier.
Pick Your Clothes Out Ahead Of Time
This is one of the easiest things to do that almost no one actually does. Just pick out your clothes the night before. I hang my clothes on a hook outside my closet so it’s basically staring at me when I get out of bed. It literally will take you ten minutes. You can do it.
Put Your Alarm Clock On The Other Side Of Your Room
I know this is hard for a lot of people who use their phones as alarm clocks, but trust me. Put your phone out of your reach or on the opposite side of your room. You’ll have to get up in order to turn it off and then you’re up!
Stretch
Stretching in the morning can really get you going. There’s a reason people do early morning yoga, and this is it. Once your feet hit the floor, try to touch your palms to the ground and do a few basic stretches. Then reach your arms all the way up and start your day.
Make Your Alarm Annoyingly Loud
If you make your alarm loud and annoying, you won’t want to keep hearing it.
Get Some Light
I don’t have blinds or curtains on my windows because I like the light to come into my room. It also makes it impossible for me to get extra snoozin’ which only sucks on the weekends.
Drink A Glass Of Water
Keep a big ole glass of water next to your bed and the second your alarm goes off, sit up and drink it. This will jump start your system, and you won’t want to go back to sleep.
