Already, pop star Davido has won 4 Best African Act of the Year awards in 2014, and he’s not done just yet.
He has just been nominated for the 2014 MTV European Music Awards, again in the ‘Best African Act’ category.
On this one, the Omo Baba Olowo is nominated alongside Goldfish from South Africa, Diamond from Tanzania, and Toofan from Togo while fans have an opportunity to vote for the fifth ‘wild card’ nominee as far as this award goes. S
ome of the artistes that can be voted in for the ‘wild card’ nominee are Tiwa Savage, Gangs of Ballet, Mafikizolo, Sarkodie, and SautiSol.
The MTV Europe Music Awards was established in 1994 by MTV Networks Europe to celebrate the most popular songs and singers in Europe.
The 2014 edition would be held on November 9, at the SSE Hydro, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
