NFF sacks Stephen Keshi, Shuaibu Amadu takes over as interim coach of Super Eagles

As widely speculated, Super Eagles Coach Stephen Keshi has been relieved of his job.

Keshi, his assistants, Ike Shorounmu and Daniel Amokachi have been asked to proceed on any course of their choice abroad to be sponsored by the football body.

Rising from its Executive Committee meeting which held after Nigeria/Sudan match yesterday and lasted till the wee hours of Thursday at Transcorp Hilton, Abuja, the NFF said Shuaibu Amadu, the Head of its technical committee will lead a consortium of coaches in the remaining matches of the Eagles in the African Nations Cup Qualifiers, while the federation hunts for a foreign coach for the team.
