I recently started meditating on a particularly popular story of a world-renowned successful man. He grew up in a particularly interesting culture where they are trained and brought up to be successful. Theirs is such an interesting and effective method that today they are regarded as the most successful ethnic group on earth. They aren’t the most populous people but everywhere they find themselves on earth, they have proven to be the most successful in business, they are the richest, they are the inventors, creators, influential philanthropists, etc.
Back to the story of this man, at 12, he was already well versed in the area of life he wanted to major in. As a matter of fact, at 12 years of age, he was more knowledgeable than those with 40 years experience. Can you believe that? Imagine the kinds of things you love, or a career or profession you want to excel in. Can you picture yourself at 12 years being better than the best in that industry? Such that they want to sit down and listen to you?
There is such a liberating feeling, to get to discover your destiny and purpose early, and then pursue it such that you are a prodigy at such a young age. I want every one of you to break that thought and banish it from your mind. What thought I’m I talking about? The thought that it is okay as a young person to not know exactly what you want to do with your life and start. There is such a huge advantage to starting early.
Knowing early and starting is such an advantage that cannot be quantified in figures. Think about Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Serena Williams, WizKid, etc. Starting early is about the most important success decision you can ever make.

I’m 16. So are you saying I don’t have a chance?
