Are you that kind of person who is always loud, vibrant and feeling the need to be around people and entertain, but you don’t quite know why? Do you hate being by yourself and feel tired whenever you’re alone? Do you feel the need to talk all the time and constantly engaged with strangers in public because you just have to? If your answers are YES to the questions above, here’s announcing to you that you’re an extrovert!
Extroverts are not attention-starved or purposefully over-bearing. You literally need to be around people because it makes you feel good, unlike introverts who need to be alone to get the same feeling. You might be an extrovert if you exhibit the following signs:
1. You really don’t like being by yourself because it makes you feel awful. You get sad and tired when you’re alone.
2. But you feel energized when you’re around other people. Because extroverts get their energy from other people.
3. Silence can make you a bit uncomfortable so you find yourself filling dead air with chatter. You will always have something to talk about.
4. You’re always trying to find excuses to talk to someone.
5. Which makes people think you’re fake or just attention-starved. You’re not, and it’s really frustrating when people think that. You’re not fake at all, you just really like to talk and do things.
6. You have several circles of friends because you need to be around people so much.
7. You can’t just sit around and not do anything. Activities are your friend! You can’t stand not being busy.
8. You have to talk about things that are bothering you. Talking it out with people helps you figure out a solution versus mulling it over yourself.
9. When you’re stressed or upset, you need to do something with people instead of taking time to yourself.
10. You’re usually taking on a leadership role of some kind. It’s just part of your nature, and being a leader means you get to be around people!
11. You really like to make plans so you don’t end up being alone. Also, if you don’t make plans you’ll never see your introverted friends.
12. But you’re also pretty spontaneous and will drop everything to go do something fun or hang out with people.
13. If you are alone, you’ll often go to a public place so you don’t *feel* alone. Even being around strangers can energise you.
14. You sometimes feel self-conscious when your introverted friends need time alone. You feel like they just don’t want to hang out with you.
15. You’re always calling and texting people. Because even when you’re alone, you feel like you need to talk to someone. At the end of the day, you just want people to ~get~ that you can’t help wanting attention.
It’s literally part of your personality. You can’t help it!
