Bamgbose, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of the NGO, noted that the mobile tutorials was easy to access as it is available anytime, anywhere and affordable.
He explained that the innovation was conceived due to the fact that students hardly read books these days, adding that the technology was meant to catch their attention through the technologies they explore.
He listed phones, social media and computers as the other forms of technology students explore these days.
On the advantages of the innovation, he said that it was compatible with any android mobile devices and also provides the opportunity for interactive learning between teacher and students, as it encourages flipped learning.
“The technology affords the students refreshing access to an alternative source of information and puts the teachers on their toes, realising that the student has access to another teacher.
“It improves retention and performance in learning; it also involves parents in the learning process by making them to watch videos with their child.
“It personalises feedback, cover up for absenteeism, and precede discussions.”
He stated that all senior secondary school subjects were captured on the mobile video tutorials, including French language.
