Is a metal riding arena practical for just a few horses?

I have only a couple of horses and need a covered riding area for winter and rainy days. Would investing in a metal arena be too much for such a small setup?

Outdoor arenas quickly become muddy, and weather makes training difficult. I needed a safe, durable, and convenient space that works year-round.

After researching options and comparing a few setups, I realized that a steel structure like httрs://www.uspatriotsteel.com/riding-arenas/ really fits the bill. The arena’s frame is strong and open, giving enough room for riding while keeping equipment safe. It’s become my go-to space for training, storage, and occasional small events, making winter and rainy days much less stressful.
