It is the duty of every teacher to educate and inform their students on the advancements and transformations going on in the education landscape but to be able to do that, you need to be informed and kept abreast of things because, restricting your students’ digital awareness and enlightenment is a failure on the part of a teacher who is supposed to equip and prepare students to be technological literate in a world where digital transformation has engulfed every sector including education, agriculture, industry, and even everyday life.
As with every concept and subject, understanding comes from starting at the beginning. In education, for numbers, it’s 1 & 2 and for alphabets, its A & B. Technology is no different. BLENDED LEARNING is a perfect alternative for part-time studying especially for students who work and wouldn’t have the time or opportunity to navigate the waters of regular classroom style. This hybrid learning that combines modern online technology and traditional face-to-face teaching technique is gaining momentum in its approach. However, it is changing the way teachers have historically instructed and interacted with students, and students feel separated from the classroom world without the support and personal relationship with classmates. Yet this digital online-learning option is becoming quite popular as it fosters digital literacy among students and greater confidence, especially when using new technologies to study and learn.
