Thank God for inventors. Heaven knows what this world would be like if there were no people who reasoned outside the box in order to make our lives better. This post is dedicated to some greatest inventors in the world. Let us have a look over the list below.

Pocket watch was invented by a German Locksmith and Clock Maker Peter Henlein in 1510.

Mercury Thermometer was invented by a famous German Physicist Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit in 1714.

Microscope was invented by a Dutch Spectacle-maker Zacharias Janssen in 1595.

Hot Air Balloon was invented by the Montgolfier Brothers (Joseph-Michel Montgolfier and Jacques-Étienne Montgolfier) of France in 1783.

Airplane was invented by Wright Brothers (Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright) of America in 1903.

Hungarian brothers Lazlo and Georg Biro were responsible for the invention of the first non-leaking ballpoint pen in 1935.

Electric Iron was invented by an American inventor Henry W. Seeley in 1882 and its patent name was Electric Flatiron. It weighted about 15 pounds.

Polaroid camera was invented by an American physicist Edwin Herbert Land in 1947. It was named as instant camera.

RADAR was invented by a Scottish physicist Sir Robert Alexander Watson in 1935 to track storms. Nowadays, RADARs are used for several purposes like air traffic monitoring, tracking of ships at sea and weather conditions.

Safety pin was invented by an American mechanic Walter Hunt in 1849. Walter Hunt was dedicated to his work and he has many other important inventions on his credit e.g., lock-stitch sewing machine and ice boat.

Bill Gates helped invent MS-DOS, which later developed into the Windows OS.
