FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup: How Falconets beat New Zealand 4-1 to qualify for Semi Final (Highlights)

Nigeria’s Super Falconets on Sunday, 17 August, 2014 qualified for the semi final of the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup holding in Canada after they defeated New Zealand 4-1.

Two goals each from Asisat Oshoala and Uchechi Sunday in either half of the quarter final match ensured the coach Peter Dedevbo’s side rolled into the semi finals undefeated.

The Falconets scored another quick goal, just as they did against Korea Republic in the group stage, with Oshoala scoring just 31 seconds into the game, finishing an attack that began from the kick-off.

For the semi final pairing, Nigeria will play Korea DPR on Wednesday while Germany and France will lock horns in the second match.
