FUNAAB Post-UTME 2020: Cut-off mark, Eligibility and Registration Details

FUNAAB Post-UTME/DE registration, cut-off marks, eligibility, application cost, screening date, and relevant information for the 2020/2021 academic session have been announced.

The cut-off mark is 180 – 200 depending on the course. The cost is N2000. The application closes on Friday, 16th October 2020.

Successful candidates within the capacity of the institution will be offered admission and required to undergo an intensive ICT Training and Orientation Programme to prepare them for life in FUNAAB.

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200, and 300 Levels in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby invited to apply online for the 2020/2021 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise.

Eligibility for Admission Consideration

UTME Candidates

  1. Minimum UTME Scores for Agriculture Related Courses is 180 and the Minimum score for Engineering, Biosciences, Physical Science, and Veterinary Medicine Courses is 200.
  2.  Candidates are expected to possess five (5) SSC Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.
  3. A Pass in Physics at O-Level is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes.
  4. A Pass in Biology with Credit in Agricultural Science is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.
  5. Candidates applying for Water Resources Management should also possess a Credit in Geography.

The candidate seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta should note that they have the SOLE responsibility of ensuring that they meet the requirements before making any payment.

If at any point it is discovered that the candidate does NOT meet the minimum admission requirements, the offer of admission shall be withdrawn and payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.

DE Candidates

Direct Entry candidates, with a minimum of Upper-Credit or its equivalent, who applied to JAMB for admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are invited to register on this portal.

  • Candidates should ensure that their Academic Transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, FUNAAB not later than Friday, 16th October 2020.
  • Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE for admissions into related areas from a recognized institution.
  • Candidates must have at least two A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB passes in the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Biology/Zoology/Botany are acceptable for admission into 200 Level.

Admission into 200 Level: Information and Requirements

General Information

Candidates seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta should note that they have the SOLE responsibility of ensuring that they meet the minimum admission requirements at Ordinary Level, OND, NCE, or HND before making any payment.

Transcript Submission Deadline:

Candidates are expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the University Registrar not later than Monday, 16th September 2020.

Screening Date and Details

The date for the screening exercise is yet to be announced.

However, candidates are advised to get the official FUNAAB Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to ensure adequate preparation for the screening.

Guidelines for Online Application

Eligible candidates are to follow the instructions below for Online Application

  1. Visit Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB Admission Portal
  2. Click on “Apply for Admission”
  3. Enter JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate
  4. Print out the Application Invoice which states their Reference Number and other information on payment
  5. Proceed to any Bank accepting REMITA payment (nationwide) or Online using a debit card or via Internet Banking and make payment of the prescribed fee using the REMITA Reference Number.
  6. After payment, candidates are to proceed to FUNAAB Admission Portal and complete the e-application form as appropriate.

Application opens on Monday, 7th September 2020, and closes on Friday, 16th October 2020.
