Beautiful: Beautiful is a woman who has a distinctive personality, one who is especially kind and caring to others. In essence, being beautiful goes beyond just physical appearance (which can be enhanced by clothing or makeup).

A handsome man
You can see a few differences immediately. First, the word “handsome” usually describes guys/men instead of girls/women.
Next, “beautiful” fits best with “woman” instead of “girl”. So you can see that the word “beautiful” is a little more sophisticated.
HINT: Being sexy goes beyond just being attractive. It means being sexually appealing. So if you’re a girl and you’ve got guys calling you sexy, you should be careful around those guys and be conscious of your dressing. And to the guys, now you know what being sexy really means. So you shouldn’t go around throwing that word at every girl you see (expect you belong to team DUMB).

Hello, thanks for sharing this article. However, you seem to have an underlying negative attitude towards the word sexy and I have a problem with your advice to the girls. A boy could be called sexy as much a girl, I don’t believe that being called sexy is a negative thing in its entirety. Every person has the responsibility to be decent and orderly in their dressing as well as their behavior towards others, no doubt. But asking only girls to be “careful” about the guys who call them sexy and to be “conscious” of their dressing is indirectly stating that its okay for boys not to control themselves when they see a sexy girl or woman and girls or women should be blamed for whatever happens. Would you give the same advice to boys to be” careful and conscious” around girls or women who call them sexy?? I don’t think so. Boys should also be advised to be decent and respectful in their behavior. Balanced advice to both genders, no bias. Thank you.
Hi Tobi, nice observation, but I don’t totally agree with what you said. Don’t forget that this is a teen website, and also the writer must have considered the such audience. Agreed that some advice should have been given to the guys too in the end. But telling a 13 year old girl she is sexy is overly wrong…except you’re one of the dull persons the writer referred to. So SEXY is overly a negative word for teenagers.
