Being a student can sure be a tedious occupation. Trust me, I know this all too well. With all the assignments, homework, school tests/examinations coupled with the high expectations from parents, it can take a huge toll on your well being if you let it. How then can you ensure a healthy balance between studying hard and staying healthy, fit and functional? Consider the few points below and feel very free to practice everything you’ve been taught in your Physical Education classes.
EAT HEALTHY MEALS AND DUMP MOST THE JUNKS: As young people, your cravings are naturally tilted towards unhealthy meals. While this doesn’t necessarily cause for alarm, it’s still important that you imbibe every good habit right from early on in life. Moreover, eating healthy as a students helps your brain acquire all the nutrients it needs for optimal cerebral development. This will not only help you perform better as a student, but ultimately ensure that you develop properly and mature gracefully. Therefore, you must eat healthy if you’d like to maintain a healthy balance between your academics and your health.

REGULAR EXERCISE IS EVERYTHING!: Scientific research has shown that when good nutrition is combined with increased physical activity, students can improve academically and health wise. When you exercise, you aid metabolism and helps your body shed the excess and needless weight. Exercising also helps you stay alert and focused; just everything you need for to ensure excellence in your academic! So do you exercise at all? Well it’s never late to start if you’re not already used to it. And if you are used to exercising, then you’ve got to keep at it.
A BALANCE BETWEEN STUDY AND REST TIME: It’s quite understandable that you have lots of assignments to do and there is that tough Mathematics test coming up soonest. But you cannot come and go and die, please! When you are told to “study hard” that doesn’t mean you must bury your face in the pages of books 24 hours in a day. Find time to rest and chill in between studies. There are lots of fun times you can do, including checking it the numerous cool stuff we’ve got on here just for you. Always bear in mind that moderation is the key to success. And as a cool, smart teenager you must find that balance.
