Hi peeps, the D-Day is finally here! It’s the 2015 GTBank Lagos Principals’ Cup finals.
Mouth-watering prizes and other incentives await winners of the 2015 GTBank Lagos Principals’ Cup football competition which ends today at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
In the male finale, Birrel Avenue Senior Secondary School, Sabo will clash with Keke High School, Ijaye, while Oriwu Senior Model College, Ikorodu will take on Ikotun Senior College In the female category.
The winning male and female teams will go home with N1,000,000 each while the 1st, 2nd, 3rd runners up will receive, N750,000, N500,000 and N250,000 respectively.
GTBANK will also upgrade the existing sports infrastructure in all participating schools which will help further promote overall sports development.
The 6th season of the prestigious secondary school tournament is an annual football competition geared towards the development of grassroots football and the discovery of young football talents.
According to the organisers of the event, the Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, will lead a government delegation to the final ceremony of the competition which is to start at about 11 a.m. at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
