Peadophilic Father finally apprehended by the Police

Idowu Lasisi is a forty two year old father, a plumber by profession and also a paedophilia. For years, he sexually abused his own daughters both aged fifteen and the other nineteen. Unfortunately for him (but fortunately for his victims), the police has finally apprehended him in his home at the Ketu area of Lagos where he has over the years perpetrated his evil crime on his own children.

Lasisi is said to be separated from his wife who reportedly left him because of his aberration. And in the year 2015, he first sexually molested his eldest daughter who fled home. Hence left with his second daughter, the actual sexual exploitation began. Nemesis however caught up with him last Wednesday when his daughter (who had finally had enough of the abuse) reported the incidents.

A police spokesperson at the Lagos State Police Command (where the suspect is currently remanded) disclosed that Lasisi usually  gave his daughter the sum of N500 each time he had s*x with her. It was his ploy to keep them quiet. The spokesperson said-

“The girl is currently at the Mirabel Centre for medical tests. She said her father had had s*x with her three times and that she tried to resist the harassment. He gave her N500 each time he had s*x with her. Her mother fled home two years ago when he defiled the girl’s elder sister. The whereabouts of the other victim had yet to be known. But the suspect is still denying that he defiled them even though her daughter insisted he did,” the source said.

Fatai Owoseni who is the Lagos State Commissioner of Police yesterday addressed a Press Conference at the Lagos State Police Headquarters in Ikeja. He confirmed Lasisi’s arrest, saying-

“The suspect was arrested for defiling his daughters. The elder one ran away and he continued to serially molest the younger one. The suspect will be paraded after the completion of investigation.”

This is appalling, people. And the most unfortunate aspect of it all is that such incidents happen on a daily basis in many Nigerian homes. When will children ever be safe from sexual exploitation?!
