The REAL difference between BELIEF and BELIEVE

These two words are not familiar in any aspect but many people are unaware of the differences between them.

BELIEF (noun)

It means an acceptance that something exists or is true.

Trust or confidence in someone or something.

An opinion or religious faith.

Examples: My personal belief is not your business.

                     Nobody will share your crazy beliefs concerning the terrorists.

BELIEVE (transitive verb)

It means to accept that something is true or real.

Example: I do not know who to believe.

Accept somebody as truthful.

Example: Nobody will believe you.

Credit somebody with something, to accept that somebody or something has a particular quality or ability.

Example: No one believed her capable of such a malicious remark.

Think something is true.

Example: I believe strongly in superstitions.

Have trust

Example: I believe in you
