What really are the benefits of studying Mathematics?

There is so much emphasis on the need for students to study Mathematics and master it. But rarely are they told the benefits studying the subjects will accord them. Learning Mathematics also helps you develop your work ethic. You will learn do your work instead of making up excuses, being lazy and blaming others. Your mastery of Mathematics will also teach you not to give up easily in life.

When you are good in Mathematics, you are most likely to get better at learning other complicated subjects.  This is because you are less afraid of complex ideas and classes.

Knowing Mathematics makes you confident even as you develop self esteem in your ability to solve real time problems.
