How do students typically use a smartphone? Do they just Facebook, Tweet, Post, Poke, Like, Snapchat, and Circle their friends all day long? Is it just text messaging or something more? To the naked eye, it would appear that students of just about any age are completely glued to their smartphone and unable to cope with the outside world.
But that’s not the whole story.
In fact, students are using smartphones in many interesting ways that might surprise you. Long story short, students are using their phones for taking tests, studying a bit more effectively, and talking to one another. In fact, more students say they use their phone to study rather than talk to friends. That’s according to this visual from StudyBlue you see below, at least. I’m not quite on board with that statistic but it’s thought-provoking at least. That’s why I wanted to share the visual. See the big image below and explore it a bit more.
