I’ve been seeing a real shift lately in how contractors handle their project planning. More people are moving away from the old style of doing everything in-house and are starting to rely on remote specialists who can deliver faster and more accurate numbers.
It kinda makes sense too. With tight deadlines and material prices changing every other week, having solid estimates early on makes a huge difference. I’ve even noticed companies using usa estimating services to speed up the process and keep everything aligned before they jump into the actual build. It takes a lot of pressure off and helps avoid those ugly surprises halfway through the project.
I’m curious if anyone here has tried working with remote estimators or outsourced estimating teams. Did it make your workflow smoother, or do you still prefer handling the whole process inside your own crew?
