Every house is different, but a typical tear-off and siding installation project may take between 7 to 14 days. There are many things that can extend the time such as the size of your house, whether you’re using prefinished siding or if it needs to be painted, and unexpected repairs.

You may be told that while painting may seem attractive at first glance, it has a significant drawback: the need for regular touch-ups and maintenance. Exterior paint is prone to weathering, fading, and peeling, forcing homeowners to spend time and money repainting every five years or so. I think, as always, it all depends on the pros. Some work fast, some are slow. I honestly don’t know if speed affects quality or the other way around.

You always want balance. Great quality is awesome, but if I have to wait twice as long, I don’t want to wait. I’m now calculating here https://www.myhomequote.com/gutter-installation/cost-calculator how much it’ll cost me to install the whole gutter system, and I definitely want to finish all the work before the heavy rains start.
