Choose the correct sentence and give explanation to your answer
A) Each boy ate their ice cream cone
B) Each boy ate his ice cream cone
These sentences is based on pronoun. We all know what pronoun is and types of pronoun.-
April 17, 2019 at 4:13 am #84905AyomideParticipant
Answer is B. Each boy ate his ice cream cone. This is because each refers to one person not all of them so the pronoun to be used should agree.
-
April 25, 2019 at 12:55 pm #85183Nta Esther EffiongParticipant
The answer to that question is B because the word each is referring to one person

THE ANSWER IS B BECAUSE OF THE PRONOUN HIS
-
September 11, 2019 at 5:36 am #91136Wilfred osasParticipant
Notice that the second one clearly is correct, because “his” is singular, just like “each.” But, what do you do when you are talking about people, and the genders are mixed? You might realize that it is inappropriate to use “it” as a pronoun to talk about a human, and “their” is plural.
