The race to sign talented striker Victor Osimhen has come down to English premiership side, Arsenal and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, as his adviser confirmed previous favourites, Tottenham Hotspurs are no longer being considered.
According to the Sun, the adviser, Gaffar Liameed, said:
We had many offers for Victor, but narrowed it to Wolfsburg and Arsenal.

The 17-year-old striker has quickly become a favourite of scouts, scoring 10 goals in seven appearances for Nigeria’s under-17 squad, after winning this year’s U-17 World Cup.
Osimhen looks like a future superstar, a traditional striker blessed with deceptive speed, bags of strength and natural finishing ability. But experts believe he needs to add some weight to his slender frame to hold his own against older, more experienced defenders, but his potential is immense.
Victor Osimhen Just Revealed Who His Hero Is
The Sun believe Arsenal are the favourites to land his signature, but his adviser seems to have different ideas. Oluwashina Okeleji of BBC Sport thinks that:
Arsenal could use a young prospect like Osimhen, given their lack of depth at the position, and playing time shouldn’t be an issue once he gets comfortable in north London. He will have to spend a couple of years with the youth squad, regardless of his eventual destination, as he’s simply not ready to shine in the Premier League or Bundesliga.
Osimhen is ahead of the curve, but his advisers should focus on whichever team is best equipped to prepare him for his career. Immediate playing time shouldn’t even be on their minds at this point, said one observer.
