Welcome back on board friends! We barely entered into the New Year and it’s already the first week of February. Wow! Life is moving really fast. Today, I want to share with you some practical tips to achieving that life you always dreamed of and my first point is “Make that decision! Yes, you first have to make that decision to be outstandingly successful.
I found that every single successful person I’ve ever spoken to had a turning point, and the turning point was where they made a clear, specific, unequivocal decision that they were not going to live their lives according to the norm. They decided they were not going to heed to peer pressure or the trend in the society. They dared to be different!
What is the desire you have in your heart? What is that wonderful picture you see yourself in each time you close your eyes. Is it to be the best in your academics or to achieve a feat in your school or society? Do you wish that someday your name and face would be on blogs, billboards, TV and more as a star girl/boy or someone who has impacted lives and achieved success? I tell you the truth that all of that is attainable. All you need to do is to stand up and make that decision- That decision that will change your life forever.
It could be to break free from a wrong company or friend, or to reduce how much time you spend playing video games or to increase your study and research time. Whatever it is, you have to stand up to it. In this life, it’s not about what you hope for or what you think you deserve, it’s what you go and get! So stop wishing and make that decision today to live up to the task. Some people make that decision at 10, 12, 13, 15 18 or their 20’s and some make it at 50, and most never make it at all.
You must realize that success in life is not automatic. You don’t stumble on success, you plan and work and follow through your plans before you can confidently say you’re successful.
You have got to do this for you! Yes, this is for you! You have to honour yourself because no one is willing to do that for you. It’s your life. Rise up and live it!
