You would think an acclaimed news broadcaster like CNN would know where Nigeria is located, but it seems they are a bit ignorant of the African map.
The leading news television channel was recently reporting on the Ebola crisis currently developing in West Africa when they mistakenly portrayed Nigeria as located in the place of Niger.
They got quite the reaction from Twitter users who were quick to point out that CNN seemed to get a bit lost while reporting the news.
This seems to be a bit of a trend unfortunately with the channel’s reporters getting caught similarly getting lost in the past in Europe and Asia as well.
Wow! Maybe we should give them some geography lesson.
Africa is a continent made up of 54 separate countries, including island nations off its coastlines – Nigeria is in West Africa.

I think he meant to say “nations” plural, and just said singular instead
How did this guy get to be VP of US?
That shows how irrelevant they see Nigeria and Africa. Yet we keep running to them
Hes not stupid he is just completely ignorant. Like many Americans they have no idea whats outside there own border.
Nobody is above mistake. I believe CNN made mistake
I believe he is just ignorant and just only knowledge bout his environment
