Wizkid’s ‘Ayo’ Album: Fans Want Their Money Back!

Wizkid’s latest album hasn’t really gathered much acceptance unlike his previous ones and fans are torn apart in their views about it.

Wizzy dropped ‘Ayo’ (Joy) on iTunes on September 17, 2014 ahead of plans and this caused a rush as fans hurried to have a feel of his new release.

But alas, the album didn’t turn out to be what they totally expected!

Although the album made it to the top of iTunes album chart within hours of its release however, criticisms later flooded its wide acceptance.

While some complained about the album being “stale”, others just clamoured for a “refund” of their money as it didn’t meet their taste.

Let’s not forget, this is his 6th album and the last with EME, and fans expected it would be a resounding farewell album.

But what about those songs he recorded with Rihanna and Chris Brown?

Well, according to him, those songs will be among his next album released under his own record label, StarBoy in December.

The new album Ayo has 19 tracks containing old tracks like ‘Jaiye jaiye’, ‘On top your matter’, ‘Show you the money’, ‘One question’ which didn’t go down well with fans who have waited for good three years for a new album.
