It is expected that when we like someone, we want them to like us back, and show it too! But that is not always the case, as some people are loath to say or show how they truly feel. This might be their way of protecting themselves form hurt in whatever form; but that they are not speaking or displaying does not mean that they are not feeling.
You just have to look for some other clues to read the content of their hearts. Yes, you will have to understand non-verbal language. Let your education begin!
1. How Big Are His Pupils?
In the body language world, the size of a man’s or woman’s pupils matter a lot. A small, pinprick-like eye means either it’s really bright outside, or they are just not that into you. A large, almost over-sized pupil means it’s either really low lighting, or their body can’t help but take all of you in – their pupils must dilate!
This is also what happens when you see the person, and everything stops, or there’s a spotlight on them – and your pupils get so big that all you can see is that other person. 2. Which Way Does She Look?
When a person makes eye contact with you, how they look away says everything about what they think and feel about you – even if they aren’t consciously aware of it themselves.
If you are a guy, next time you see a girl that interests you, make eye contact with her, and hold the gaze until she looks away. Watch where she looks and use that information to determine whether you should approach or not.
A look up: Even slightly, is the same as rolling your eyes at someone – don’t even bother wasting your time.
A look sideways: This means they are unsure, and are scanning the space to see if there’s someone more suitable.
If you are a girl, how guys look away is a bit different.
An alpha male (that is, a guy that always assume a controlling position in every situation) will hold eye contact until the other person looks away, if they’re interested at all.
Softer, gentler guys will likely exhibit the same behaviours as the girls in the paragraph above, and almost every gentleman won’t even “see” you if they are not attracted to you.
3. Are They Fiddling?
Watch how the person you are interested in moves and touches themselves or other objects around them when you are conversing. Fiddling, stroking, and caressing are all signs that they are very much interested, and if you really watch closely, you might even see them doing something truly surprising to show you just how attracted they really are, without them even being aware of it.
4. What’s Their Geometry?
When someone finds you attractive, watch their shoulders and feet. When their shoulders and/or feet point towards you, they are interested. But there might be other people in the way, and you are not clear if it’s you or someone else near you – When a person likes you, they will create a triangle between your body and theirs, and usually the closest exit. They will literally block off anyone else from connecting with you on any level, so watch where everything points.
So, in all, these are the four essentials. And to be doubly sure, check for more than one sign at a time, if possible, all four. Even if someone is a master at not expressing their feelings, these bodily signs will invariably give them away – and that’s where your answers lie.
