The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has announced that the results of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be available 30 minutes after leaving the hall.
This means that candidates that participated in the JAMB CBT exam will get a graphical result sent to their mobile phones 30 minutes after leaving the examination hall, while the specific scores will be released within the period of four days.
For access to your 2016 JAMB UTME results, do follow the steps outlined below:
1. Go to the JAMB result checking portal at http://www.jamb.org.ng/unifiedtme3/
2. Enter your registration number where required
3. Click on Check Result for access to your UTME score.
You may check your result only AFTER sitting the examination. Only those, who have written their exams 3 days before are expected to see their results online, but if you see the message “No Result Yet”, keep checking.
Before you proceed though, you should note that you are limited to only 5 FREE TRIALS, after which you will be required to purchase a scratch card for subsequent result checking.
Please note also that the online result print-out does not replace the Original JAMB Result Slip, you will still need the Original JAMB Result Slip for registration upon admission to any higher institution.
