Baba Umar, the Chairman of Kano state task force, revealed on Wednesday the shutting of 69 private schools due to their inability to meet the educational standards and functioning under bad conditions.
“The 69 illegal schools were also operating under disturbing conditions and this is against the laws governing the establishment of schools in the state,’’ he said.
Mr. Umar stated that the grounds for closing down the schools were improper condition, lack of qualified teachers and appropriate facilities.
