Meet Richard Ogundiya and Tolu Yussuff, two 19 year-old entrepreneurs whose company, Jangilova, is set to change the way you watch TV and entertain yourself.
Richard is a 300-level student of the University of Lagos, while Tolu is a student of the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT) Lagos. Their proposed service will connect people to consume such media content as movies, video games, football matches, news, and TV programmes.
Think of it this way, instead of watching that Arsenal vs Chelsea match at home and all alone, the service will connect you with others who want to do likewise; allowing you have fun and meet new, interesting people at the same time!
It could even be that you want to watch the latest episodes of Game of Thrones, Empire, or Keeping Up With the Kardashians but your subscription just expired; perhaps, you are looking for someone who will challenge you in playing God of War, FIFA 2016 or Assassin’s Creed, then this service has got you.
For Jangilova’s founders, their mission is to be Africa’s largest community driven hospitality company, and connecting you with people or places around you who are willing to open their doors and watch with you. They believe their service will be the better option when all the medium of entertainment – movies, games, and TV – become ever more expensive, and also for those who just want to hang out with cool people and do fun things.
Even though the service won’t be free, it will offer the cheapest and most convenient ways to enjoy your free time without hassle around your city. The service will not be limited to private homes only, but also bars, viewing centres, and other public places or ventures.
