An Italian teenager has been hospitalised with serious injuries from jumping off a window after his father smashed his PlayStation, local media reported.
The accident took place on Saturday, the ANSA news agency said, quoting local newspapers in Bergamo, a town 50km north-east of Milan.
The 13-year-old boy was said to have walked out on the balcony of his family’s flat and to have jumped from a height of 10m following a confrontation with his father over his poor school grades.
The father reportedly broke his PlayStation because he was angry at the boy for spending too much time playing video games.
The teen was said to have broken several bones, but was not in life-threatening condition.
