SIX THINGS THAT LIMIT YOUR PRODUCTIVITY IN SCHOOL AND LIFE GENERALLY

You can be anything you set your mind to become. This is because you have an inexhaustible wealth of potentials. However, some habits can reduce and limit your possibilities. The following habits make you limited in your academic performance as a student and stop you from being your best:

1) NOT SETTING GOALS

Goals give you focus as a student and help you stay committed until you accomplish a particular task.

When you don’t set goals, you lack a sense of focus.

2) NOT BELIEVING IN YOURSELF

When you don’t believe in yourself, you reduce your self-confidence, and it affects your general approach to tasks and challenges.

When you don’t believe in yourself, others will not believe in you. To boost your positive output, get rid of self-doubt!

3) ALLOWING FEAR TO STOP YOU

Fear is one of the greatest limitations in life. It cripples your mind and makes you a slave bound in fetters within your mind. To maximize your inexhaustible potentials do away with fear of every sort- be it fear of mathematics, fear of failing, fear of teachers, fear of examinations, etc.

4) EXPECTING TOO MUCH FROM YOURSELF

Perfectionism can be deadly. Your goal as a student is to make sure you are putting in your possible best and doing every single task and assignment given to you. Expecting too much from yourself can make you lose focus on the learning process and focus on getting good grades and passing exams alone without improving.

5) HAVING UNCONTROLLABLE SCREENTIME

There are several distractions in this age which if not monitored can have the worst implications on your productivity in life.

Spending excessive time watching the Television or chatting on social media is the greatest thief of time and productivity of students in this day and age. Reduce your screen time and increase your study time.

6) PROCRASTINATION

When you continuously postpone the tasks you’re supposed to execute, you end up getting excess works piled together waiting on you for execution.

The huge the tasks waiting on you, the less energy you feel and have to execute the tasks. Hence, limited productivity. Stop procrastinating and start executing.

In your opinion, which of these actions and habits is the greatest enemy and thief of productivity?
