An American teenager has become an overnight high roller after wrongly receiving a $31 000 deposit into his bank account.
The Georgia 18-year-old apparently received the money after a teller made the error handling the money of a man with the same name.
The real owner of the money only realised the error days after the teenager had already withdrawn $20 000 in cash and spent another $5,000 using his debit card before the bank figured out what happened.
But now the bank wants the money back.
Bank officials said they will press charges if the money wasn’t returned.
