Teens! Let’s Get To Know A Bit More About The Sun And Its Immense Benefits

We all know about the Sun, that spherical ball of fire up in the sky which literarily never allows anyone look at it bare-eyed! The Sun is the ultimate star, located in the centre of the Solar System and radiating its heat across space. Often described as “a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma”, the Sun possesses the capability to generate an incredible magnetic field which in turn provides the needful energy for supporting life on Earth and perhaps elsewhere yet to be ascertained.  The Sun is also a huge ball with an estimated diameter that is 109 times the size of Earth. Its general [massive] size is about 330,000 times twice Earth’s; said mass which is consisted of several elements including hydrogen, helium, neon, iron, carbon and even oxygen. The billions of years it has existed and throughout this long period has remained the same massive hot [burning] gas that it is. How incredible is that!

There is quite a lot of wonderment surrounding the Sun. But beyond the fascination with its composition, many others are interested in the immense benefits it affords Earth and its inhabitants. Without gainsaying the fact, life on Earth would be utterly impossible without the Sun constantly burning its gas and emitting heat across space. In other words, the heat of the sun provides the needed energy to sustain life. Plants for instance (which are primary in the food chain as you may well know) need the sun for Photosynthesis. Without the process called Photosynthesis occurring, plants may as well go hungry and die off. And trust you me, when plants die, animals would follow in turn; after all most of the earth animals [including humans] consume on a daily are plants. So you see, the sun is beyond important in this regard therefore.

There are very many more benefits the Sun provides for us. Take for instance; it is needful in the regulation of climatic conditions and weathers of the Earth, and most specifically in the formation of rainfall. I really should expect that every Secondary School students understand already why this is so. However, just for the benefits of those who wouldn’t, I shall explain in my layman understanding of the fact- evaporation and condensation are needful processes that must occur before the rain falls. In other words, water vapor must be evaporated into the sky courtesy of the heat provided by the sun. And when this happens, it makes room for the condensation clouds and falling of the rain which of course is needed for several purposes. Who knows…perhaps we would not have any more rainfalls if the Sun were   to cease from shinning…

The sun is indeed the ultimate source of energy, and in this case I mean electric energy. Solar Energy is one of the purest and therefore eco-friendly sources of energy ever known to man. And the good thing about this source of energy is that it is not only pure, but also limitless such that there is no fear of it finishing someday soon. And here is more good news- the electric energy provided by the sun is so free just like Passnownow.com; so you can tap it anytime.

The Sun also offer a number of health-related benefits, from killing off harmful bacteria off your skin to giving you a needful vitamin- Vitamin D. Indeed, we just cannot do without the Sun because it serves humanity and indeed the whole Earth in more ways that can be enumerated. I mean, we all have dried clothes with it, crop farmers need it for food preservation and even fisher men need to sun their stock fish in the Scandinavian parts of the world. Little wonder some people cannot help but worship the constantly-burning spherical ball of gas that hangs in space.

Whatever you do, never undermine the importance of the sun. In the same vein, ensure to use it with much care because just like everything else, it also has its disadvantages. For one, overexposure to the sun could just be as harmful! In any case, we gotta love the sun please!
