Guys flirt, and girls flirt. Those little teases that make you ask: “Does he like me back?” feel like nothing else, but it also makes situations incredibly difficult to read.
If he is constantly teasing you, I would be very careful to read that as him being into you. While in younger years, the idea that guys tease the girls they like may have some point, but there comes a time when it becomes immature and a total red flag for relationships. It is on the borderline between the two, and only you can really know which side he falls on. Regardless, I would be cautious of using that as a sign that he likes you.
At the same time, do not put much faith in messages that may have been exchanged between you two on social media. The ability to hide behind the computer screen is one of the biggest problems of modern society, hence what he says on Facebook or Whatsapp may not count for much. Also, if he does like you, he may not be willing to say it out loud for fear of blowing his cover, hence his trying to play it cool. But if you really want to know if he’s into you, make plans together and see what happens.
If it seems like he wants to hang out with you; and you both talk a lot, this is certainly a step in the right direction. But if you are just getting to know each other better, it would be better if you gave things time to develop. Because when you rush into a relationship, it is almost always doomed to fail – so be patient, and let him make his intentions clearly known that he is actually into you.
The bottom line is, if things seem pretty unclear on whether or not he feels for you the way you do for him, then it would be better if you are upfront about it. If you are into him, proceed to tell him. You do not have to wait for him to make the first move – by telling him, you put the ball in his court, and what he does next is all on him!
So it will never be that you said nothing, it would be that he said nothing!!
