Indefinite
The national president of the union, Biodun Ogunyemi, announced the strike at a press conference in its National Secretariat, Abuja on Monday.
In his statement “The union has decided to embark on total and indefinite strike from Monday 23,2020, ”.
He said the union rejects the use of force to enroll on Integrated Payroll and Personal Information System (IPPIS).
The declaration of the indefinite strike was because of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System and the non-implementation of the 2009 agreement.
The union’s National President, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, announced the strike at a press briefing and he also noted that the government failed to address the matter.
