Nigeria celebrities are not just about entertainment, a good number of them are graduates from various institutions. This shows the entertainment industry is full of educated people and it is obvious in some of the productions that come from the industry.

1. Funke Akindele
Akindele was born on August 24, 1977, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria. Funke is the second of three children (two girls and one boy). Akindele’s mother is a Medical Doctor while her father is a retired School Principal.Funke obtained an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mass Communication from the former Ogun State Polytechnic, now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
2. Naira Marley
Azeez Fashola (born 9 May 1994), known professionally as Naira Marley was born in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria. He studied at Porlock Hall before attending Walworth School, where he obtained his General Certificate of Secondary Education. He graduated with a distinction in business from Peckham Academy.
3. Broda Shaggi
Born on the 6th of July, 1993, Samuel Perry better known as Broda Shaggi (Brother Shaggi) is a top Nigerian actor, comedian and singer.
He got a Bachelor in Creative Arts from the Lagos Sate University.
4. Kate Henshaw
Kate Henshaw, also credited as Kate Henshaw-Nuttall, is a Nigerian actress. The 48 year old star actress studied Medical Microbiology at the University Of Calabar.
5. Bovi Ugboma
Bovi Ugboma was born in Benin City, the capital of Edo State, Nigeria. He attended UNIBEN staff school for his primary education. In 1991, he was enrolled into Government College, Ughelli in Delta State and and went on to study Theatre Arts at Delta State University.
6. Toyin Abraham
Toyin was born on September 5, 1980 in Auchi, a town in Edo State in southern Nigeria, but spent her early life in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State in southwestern Nigeria. She went to Osun State Polytechnic Iree; from 1999-2002, where she had her Pre- National Diploma, and Ordinary National Diploma. She obtained a Higher National Diploma Certificate in Marketing from Ibadan Polytechnic.
7. Tiwa Savage
Tiwatope Savage born 5 February 1980, known professionally as Tiwa Savage, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress. Born in Isale Eko. The songstress moved to London with her family at the age of 11 and attended the University Of Kent UK, she obtained a degree in Business Administration.
8. AY
Ayodeji Richard Makun, also known by his stage name A.Y, is a Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and TV presenter, writer, producer and director. Born on August 19, he hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State. He graduated from Delta State University, Abraka where he studied Theatre Arts. He graduated in 2003 as the Most Celebrated Theatre Arts student.
9. Odunlade Adekola
Odunlade Adekola, born 31 December 1978, is a Nigerian actor, singer, film-maker, producer and director, born and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State, but from Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State. He went to Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, where he received a diploma certificate. He proceeded to further his education and in May 2018,he received a degree in Bachelors of Business Administration at the University of Lagos.
10. Davido
David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known by his stage name, Davido, was born on November 21, 1992, in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended the British International School in Lagos and at the age of 16, he moved to Alabama, US, to study business administration at Oakwood University. Davido dropped out of Oakwood University to pursue music full-time. In July 2015, he graduated from Babcock with a degree in music.
