Birmingham-based arts organisation Sampad South Asian Arts has launched the third international creative writing competition.
The new competition, Inspired by Gandhi, invites budding writers from anywhere in the world, from the age of 8 upwards, to reflect on the life, philosophy and vision of Mahatma Gandhi and to share their personal inspirations relating to the great leader, in the form of a poem, short story or piece of reportage.
Entering The Competition
If you have a poem, short story or reportage inspired by Gandhi, send in you entries and your words could be selected for publication. In order to enter the competition, you must firstly read the Rule and FAQs which can be accessed from the Downloads section above right. Please note that:
- Any writer from anywhere in the world from the age of 8 upwards can take part.
- All entries must be written in English.
- Entries can be up to 400 words.
- Only two entries are allowed per person
- THE CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS SUNDAY 31 MAY 2015
