The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Wednesday advised candidates who have registered for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to print their examination notification slips. The advice was part of a statement issued by the Board’s Head of Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin.
According to the statement:
Candidates will have access to the JAMB portal from Thursday, February 18. The notification slip should contain the date, time and venue of candidate’s examination.Candidates are to adhere strictly to the schedule as there will be no rescheduling of examination for any student. They should be in their centres 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.Candidates are also advised to check their schedule properly as the Board will not condone any excuse in the event that candidates missed their date and/ or time for his or her examination.
The Board further stated that candidates are free to visit JAMB accredited CBT centres and cybercafes to print their slips, and even in the comfort of their homes. Meanwhile, arrangements have been concluded for the smooth take-off of the Computer Based Test (CBT), scheduled to begin on February 29.
The examination will last for a week, with a million candidates participating. About 500 Internet-compliant centres will be used for the Computer-based Test in the country, while seven others will be used outside the country.
A test run was carried out at all accredited centres on Sunday, February 14 with a confirmation that everything is set for the exercise, the statement concluded.
How to Re-print Your 2016 JAMB Exam Slip
1. Visit the official website by clicking here.
2. Look for the bold, green heading on the right side of the page that reads; “Re-Print Your Slip”, click on this.
3. Enter your JAMB registration number in the space provided and click “Re-Print”.
4. Details of your Exam Date, Time and Venue should now appear on the slip.
5. Ask to reprint the slip using a printer, and if you have one, simply press “ctrl” and the “P” key both on the keyboard.
