Despite the ongoing protest springing up from different parts of the country by applicants seeking to write the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has completely ruled out re-opening of the examination portal as date for the examination draws nigh.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the UTME, which will be Computer Base Test (CBT) mode all through, and this is expected to begin on Monday, February 29th 2016.
This is contained in a statement signed by the Head, Media and Information of the board, Fabian Benjamin.
For those who have registered for the UTME, I sincerely hope we are reading and preparing hard for it as the exam is only one week away.
