On JAMB’s UTME Cut-Off Mark, Change of Course Form, Direct Entry Form, and Related News

On Thursday, June 2 in Abuja, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and managers of tertiary education in Nigeria adopted 180 as the cut-off mark for 2016 admission into universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.

The Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu, who was Chairman at the event commended and expressed confidence in JAMB for the conduct of the 2016 UTME, mentioning also that post-UTME was needless once a candidate has been proven worthy in scaling through JAMB’s UTME.

In other news, 2016 Change of Course and Institution forms are still on sale at a charge of ₦2,500 for the card and ₦500 for the service and printing cost. This can be done at any JAMB accredited CBT centre nearest to you, which can be verified by visiting this link.

Also, 2016 Direct Entry forms will close on July 1, 2016, while all tertiary institutions are expected to have finalised the admission process of successful candidates by the closing date, November 30, 2016.
