HERE THE THINGS TEENAGERS REALLY LOVE ABOUT SCHOOL

We all know that school can really like bore teenagers to tears; right? But then again, it can also be surprisingly lovely just as it is boring. This means that there are interesting things about school that teenagers love. Some of the things on this list might even surprise you. But truly speaking, teenagers love them. Please feel free to dispute anything you feel shouldn’t be on the list. And please enjoy as read.

TEENAGERS LOVE LESSONS/STUDYING: Okay I know…some of you will be like-“you’re lying right now; we don’t love lessons”. But come on darlings, you know you do love to learn! I mean, every student have [their] favourite subjects which they love to study. Assuming your best subject is Mathematics, then chances are you usually always look forward to your Mathematics lessons. And then since your best subject is Math, some other student’s best subject is English Language, Chemistry, Physics etc. And just like that, almost every subject there is is beloved by one student or the other. How then can students be loving their favourite subjects if they don’t love to study?! So you see…teenagers love their lessons. And that is just as nice!

TEENAGERS LOVE ARTS AND CRAFTS: Teenagers love to be creative! And nothing else makes them more creative than the opportunities enabled by crafts lessons. The creative outlet provided by the crafts lessons is something most kids love. Indeed, it delights them to work with their scissors and papers, gumming things up and making clay wears. Perhaps the reason why the teens really like crafts is the fact that there is no particular way to go about it. You can either create a beautiful or ugly art; either way it’s just as nice. And that’s one way to inspire/nurture creativity. Little wonder the teens love it.

TEENAGERS LOVE THE FREE PERIODS AND BREAKS:  After sitting still and staring at the teachers talk for so long, it is always a delight to teenagers to finally have free periods and even breaks. This is not just a time to chill and have some time away from the classroom and the blackboard, it’s also a time to freely mingle with friends and talk about stuff. This is why teenagers love free periods and breaks. Don’t you love free periods and breaks?

TEENAGERS LOVE GOSSIPING: Drawing in from the last point, gossiping is something almost every teenager loves to do. And they get to gossip a lot during recess. They talk about the good and bad teachers and even their mates. It’s a whole of things to talk about within a short time; so they best of it. Trust me, almost every teenager looks forward to the gossip time. And for this reason, they love school!

TEENS LOVE COMPETITIONS:  Teens love it when there are sports competitions either within or outside the school. Inter House Sports are usually beloved by virtually every student. I mean come on, who wouldn’t? Not only do they get to have fun with the wide array of sports, they also get to keep fit by exercising. In the process of competing during sports competitions, teenagers also get to win fantastic prizes. But then, competition is not just restricted to sports; there are also essay competitions, quiz competitions etc.

THEY GET TO SEE THEIR CRUSHES: The opportunity school provides for teenagers to crush on their classmates, juniors and seniors is one hell of a reason they all love school! This may be hard to believe especially if you’re not a teenager; but then the typical teenager knows that one of the reasons s/he wake up every morning and hurry off to school is because [they] know they will have the opportunity to behold the faces of their crushes once again. And then there is that exhilarating feeling when your crush smiles at you… How nice!

TEENAGERS LOVE SCHOOL BECAUSE OF THEIR FRIENDS: There is no reason over-explaining this because whether or not you agree, the most important reason every teenager love school is because of their friends. Friends make schooling fun. That explains why teenagers without friends always detest school. Am I wrong? No!

Do let’s hear what you think about this list. Be fun.
