The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has released the Pre-registration Tips for candidates preparing to write the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination otherwise known as UTME. This disclosure was made in a series of related tweets on the organization’s Twitter page. Please take notes of the tips as clearly stated below-
JAMB Pre-registration Tips for UTME 2017 Candidates
1. All the candidates’ ten fingers will be captured for biometrics.
2. All candidates are expected to have valid email addresses. This will be used to create individual profiles on JAMB’s portal.
3. Each candidate should please request to have a personal profile created for him/her. Candidates can also create their 2017 UTME profile themselves by simply logging onto jamb.org.ng.
4. All candidates will also be required to get their O’Level results ready as they will be uploading these during the registration.
5. 6. Candidates may not use combined O’Level results.
7. All candidates now have the option of choosing more than one institution as 1st Degree institution.
8. Candidates can also make their choices to be four IEI or 3 NCE and 1 of ND or Degree.
9. There will be no sales of scratch cards for the registration. Mode of payment will be communicated to you soon.
10. Cyber cafés will not be allowed to render services on behalf of JAMB. However, candidates must ensure to use ONLY JAMB accredited centres.
