The Rise Labs hosted the finalists of Business Day’s “The CEO Apprentice 2019” on Friday, August 22nd, 2019. The participants were welcomed to the labs by our founder, Mrs. Toyosi Akerele-Ogunsiji, she shared with them the lessons learnt from her journey so far and gave them advice that they will cherish for a lifetime. She also explained to them what Artificial Intelligence is about, how it is being applied to every facet of life and how The Rise Labs is leveraging on it to prepare young people for the future of work and the fourth industrial revolution.
It was an excellent session which was made better by the eagerness of the participants who were open to learning and being an active part of the session. We are glad to have been able to provide this opportunity for them and hopefully they took away a lot of things from the class that will be of great benefit on the long run in their respective careers.
Special words of course goes to the guest speakers Kayode Odeyemi, Head of AI and cognitive Technology at Ecobank, and Emeka Okoye, Founder of Open Data NG, for both delivering engaging and insightful sessions that had the participants cheering and asking for more. They impressed on the participants the importance of Data collection and automation of repetitive tasks.
The Rise Labs wishes the participants success in their respective future endeavours and is open to helping and partnering with interested participants to help them achieve success.
