While participating at one of the company’s ‘Hack-a-thons,’ a Facebook engineer developed a ‘sympathize’ button for users to express condolences. Not all ideas presented at the Hack-a-thon are integrated into the platform, but Facebook isn’t ruling out implementing the sympathize button. Will this new feature be coming to a status near you?
