Are you tech savvy? Do you keep in touch with the latest trends? If you answered Yes! and Yes!! to both questions, then what follows will sure make you yelp (but for joy!)
This is because adding friends on Snapchat just got easier! Back in the early days of the app, you had to add your friends through your address book (which you can still do) or by username, and then last year, Snapcodes were introduced. But soon, that might just be a thing of the past.
According to Refinery29, you can now add friends on the platform by sharing a personal URL for your username to other forms of social media.
Here’s how to go about it:
1. Open the “Add Friends” page and click “Share Username.”
2. You will get your own personal link, which you can post on Facebook, Twitter, or your Instagram bio like any other link.
3. By clicking on the link, your friends will automatically add you on Snapchat.
This is the latest of the platform’s changes over the past month or so, and a recent leak revealed that the app will be rolling out new features like video chatting, audio calling, and more stickers!
