2015 is about to round up, and there were a lot of big Nigerian celebrity stories that rocked the year.

Dbanj
The love life of the Koko Master has always been intriguing to the public. Whoever he has been attached to (super actress Genevieve Nnaji or billionaire heiress Adama Indimi), stories of D’banj’s love affairs always makes the headlines. In January, it was reported that there was a brewing love affair between D’banj and South African Bonang Matheba. The love affair went on for months and stole headlines. Sadly it ended when D’banj declared his love for his ex Adama Indimi.
Davido
In March, rumours started going around that Davido was going to be a father, which he swiftly denied. In an interview Davido’s reps admitted he knew the lady in question (Sophie Momodu) but denied that the pop singer was responsible for her pregnancy. In May, Davido was singing a different tune as he welcomed a baby girl named Imade. The news of Davido’s first child was exposed by Sophie Momodu’s famous cousin Chief Dele Momodu. Davido is now a doting father to his baby.
Tonto Dikeh
Hands down the most shocking and surprising celeb story of 2015. Who would have thought that the bad girl of Nollywood Tonto Dikeh would marry in 2015? Well the star actress did. In August, Tonto Dikeh hit us with the big news that she had married the love of her life Olakunle Churchill. The pictures of the Introduction ceremony in Port-Harcourt went viral. No surprise here why this was one of the most read stories in the local celebrity section. Tonto Dikeh is pregnant at the moment and is in America getting ready to deliver her child.
Denrele Edun
Marriage was a big issue for a lot of Nigerian male celebrities this year. The ever vibrant and sometimes controversial media personality Denrele Edun grabbed the headlines in 2015 thanks to his ‘Caitlyn Jenner’ moments. The biggest news about the former child actor was about him getting married. In an interview with softsell magazine Global Excellence in March he shocked the world when he said he was going to marry soon. Oh by the way Denrele hasn’t gotten married yet.
